Who can create a Meetance account?

You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to use a dating service in your country. Each person should maintain only one authentic account.

How do I create an account?

Choose Create free account, enter your basic details, verify your contact method when requested, and complete the guided profile steps. Registration is free.

Can I use Meetance in my language?

Yes. Use the language selector in the header or menu to choose a supported display language. Meetance currently supports multiple languages, including English, German, French, Spanish, Persian, Arabic, Urdu, and more.

Why am I asked for my location?

Your location helps Meetance show relevant people nearby. You can choose a location manually or allow your device to suggest your nearest city. We use location data to improve discovery and do not display your exact GPS coordinates publicly.

How do I complete or edit my profile?

Open My Profile and use the edit controls to update your introduction, interests, what you are looking for, location, and other profile details. A complete, honest profile usually receives better-quality interactions.

What photos can I upload?

Upload recent photos that clearly show you and belong to you. Explicit content, misleading images, contact details, advertising, hate symbols, and photos of children alone are not allowed. Photos may be reviewed before appearing publicly.

Why is my photo pending or rejected?

New or changed photos may be held for moderation. A photo can be rejected if it is unclear, inappropriate, copied, misleading, contains prohibited content, or does not meet our community rules. Upload a clear and recent alternative.

How does Discover work?

Discover uses your profile information, preferences, location, activity, and other relevance signals to suggest people. Results may change as you update your profile or as new members join.

What do Like and Friend mean?

A Like is a lightweight way to show interest. A friend request invites the other member to connect more directly and must be accepted. You can remove a like or cancel a friendship from the relevant member or profile controls.

Why do I see fewer nearby profiles than expected?

Results depend on available members, your filters, your selected location, and account eligibility. Try widening your distance or preferences, confirming your city, and completing more of your profile.

How do I send a message?

Open a member profile or an existing conversation and choose Message. Write a respectful message and send it. Some messaging actions may require profile completion, an accepted connection, or sufficient account access.

Are messages private?

Messages are visible to conversation participants. Meetance may process or review content when needed for delivery, abuse prevention, safety investigations, legal compliance, or when a participant reports a conversation. Do not share sensitive information you would not want exposed.

How do voice and video calls work?

When calling is available, open the conversation and choose the call option. Your browser may ask for microphone or camera permission. The other member must accept before the call connects. A stable internet connection and an up-to-date browser give the best results.

Why is my video or audio call not connecting?

Check camera and microphone permissions, your internet connection, and whether another app is using the device. Refresh the page, try a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari, and make sure both people have accepted the call.

Do you send message and activity notifications?

Depending on your settings and browser support, Meetance can notify you by email, web push, or connected services such as Telegram. You can manage available notification preferences from your profile or account settings.

How does Meetance help keep members safe?

We combine profile and photo rules, moderation, reporting tools, account controls, and technical abuse prevention. No system removes every risk, so take your time, keep early conversations on the platform, and trust your instincts.

How do I report or block someone?

Use the safety or action controls on the member profile or conversation. Include a clear reason and useful details when reporting. Blocking limits further contact; reports are reviewed according to our policies.

What should I do if someone asks for money?

Do not send money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, banking details, verification codes, or financial documents. Stop contact and report the account immediately. Meetance members and support staff should never pressure you to transfer money.

What information should I keep private?

Avoid sharing your home or work address, government ID, passwords, verification codes, financial information, or intimate material. Use the platform messaging tools while getting to know someone and meet in a public place when you feel ready.

Does Meetance show my exact location?

Public profiles may show a city, region, or approximate distance, but should not expose your exact GPS coordinates. Location information is handled according to our Privacy Policy and your device permissions.

What are the rules for respectful behavior?

Be honest, courteous, and mindful of consent. Harassment, threats, hate, discrimination, scams, impersonation, sexual exploitation, illegal content, and repeated unwanted contact are prohibited and can result in account restrictions or removal.

Is Meetance free?

You can create an account and access core features for free. Optional paid plans or virtual items may unlock or extend specific features. Current availability and prices are shown on the Pricing page or before you confirm a purchase.

What are Star Coins?

Star Coins are virtual credits that may be used for eligible features inside Meetance. Their availability, cost, and permitted uses can vary. They are not cash, cannot be transferred outside supported features, and are subject to the applicable terms.

How do I change my notification or privacy settings?

Open your profile or account settings to review the controls available to you. Browser notification permission can also be changed in your browser or device settings.

I cannot log in. What should I do?

Confirm that you are using the same sign-in method and details used during registration. Check for typing errors, complete any required verification, and try again in a private browser window. Contact support if the problem continues.

How do I delete my account?

Open your account or profile settings and choose the permanent account deletion option. Read the confirmation carefully: deletion removes access and is intended to be irreversible, although limited records may be retained where required for safety, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or dispute handling.

How can I contact Meetance support?

Use the Contact Us or Help Center link and describe the issue, the page where it happened, and any relevant error message. Never include your password, verification code, or payment credentials.
